Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Amelia (“Amelia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Rothian, provides an AI-powered sales and marketing platform that helps businesses manage leads, content, and multi-channel campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using Amelia, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Amelia is operated by Rothian. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at admin@rothian.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account & profile data — your name, email address, company, role, and authentication details when you sign up.
- Business content you provide — leads, contacts, products, projects, campaigns, quotes, and knowledge-base documents you add to the platform.
- Usage data — log and device information, pages viewed, and actions taken, used to operate and improve the service.
- Connected-account data — when you link a third-party account (such as LinkedIn), we receive information according to the permissions you grant. See Section 3.
3. LinkedIn integration
When you choose to connect your LinkedIn account using “Sign In with LinkedIn” (OpenID Connect), we receive your basic profile information — your name, profile picture, email address, and LinkedIn member identifier — together with an OAuth access token issued by LinkedIn.
With your explicit authorization, we use this connection only to:
- Publish content that you have reviewed and approved to LinkedIn on your behalf (the “Share on LinkedIn” feature); and
- Where you grant advertising permissions, create, manage, and report on advertising campaigns within ad accounts that you administer.
We act only with your consent and only on pages or ad accounts where you hold the appropriate role. We store LinkedIn access tokens securely, do not sell them, and do not share LinkedIn data with third parties for their own purposes. We use LinkedIn data solely to provide the features you request, in compliance with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and Platform guidelines. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time from Settings → Integrations; doing so deletes the stored access token from our systems.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the platform and its features.
- To generate AI-assisted content suggestions (such as draft posts, summaries, and campaign copy) from the content you provide.
- To analyze usage, measure performance, and improve our services.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To communicate with you about your account and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. AI processing
Amelia uses third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI) to generate drafts, summaries, and other outputs from the content you submit. The relevant content is sent to these providers only to produce the output you request. We do not use your data to train third-party public AI models beyond what is necessary to provide the service to you.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With service providers that help us operate the platform (hosting, databases, AI processing, email delivery, and analytics), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- With platforms you connect, at your direction (for example, publishing to LinkedIn).
- When required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.
7. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage of credentials and access tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and continually improve our safeguards.
9. Your rights and choices
- Access, correct, or export your information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent and disconnect any linked third-party account (including LinkedIn) at any time.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact admin@rothian.com.
10. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the platform, and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
12. Children
Amelia is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
